If you are showing an exhibit that is also the same as your 4-H project, you need to bring a plate/jar to show for 4-H and a plate/jar to show for the fair except classes PO5764 and PO5765

There will be 4 special awards will be given to the exhibitor who acquires the highest and second highest points in the Culinary Department. These awards are being donated by:

Entry Form

Rules

  1. Food must be placed on a seven inch white disposable plate or cardboard (no more than two inches larger than the size of entry) and displayed in a clear ZIPLOCK bag with your exhibitor's ticket securely stapled to the plate. Do not staple through the bag. Staple the tag with the exhibitor's number clearly visible. No doilies to be placed on plate.
  2. No artificial coloring permitted except classes PO4763, PO5764, PO5765, PO6766, PO6767 and PO7782.
  3. Any canned goods, pickles, jellies, and preserves showing signs of spoilage will be disqualified.
  4. All canned goods, pickles, jellies, and preserves will be opened. All will be tested for proper canning procedures. Any that are not properly canned will be disqualified. Jellies and preserves will be tested for taste and consistency.
  5. Baked goods must be cool when received for exhibit.
  6. Entries close at noon on Saturday, July 2. All exhibits must be picked up on Saturday, July 9 by 12:00 p.m.
  7. Junior exhibitors may make one entry per class.
  8. Items that have no ribbions will be disposed of on the last day of the fair unless notified.
  9. All ornamental items will be returned to the participant.
  10. All entry tags must be filled out completely.
  11. Please do not remove ribbons from your exhibits until pickup on Saturday, July 9.
  12. Social Security numbers are required
  13. Entries must be delivered on Tuesday, July 5 between 6:45 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.

Baked goods are to be made from a recipe. No box mixes are to be used unless specified. Please check cake rules for changes.
